In April of 1994 Rwanda experienced hell on earth. Over 800,000 people were murdered in 100 days. In a country lost in fear, neighbor turned on neighbor. Today, Bpeace joins in Rwanda's remarkable recovery supporting business women who are at its heart.
"Hope is only a beginning - transformation is the objective."
This video is about Bpeace and Regis Coporation working together to sustain peace in Rwanda. Russel Brown from Regis Corporation talks about his experience in Rwanda and what it means to him. Together with Bpeace; Russel and friends went to Rwanda to provide their services towards building and improving a beauty salon. The trip focused on hair cutting workshops working with people who had never even held scissors before and training them to effectively cut hair.
"The salon business is a universal language - a language anyone can speak. Finding the common tread which binds us together is more than good customer service, it fosters peace."
"Business is relationships...Business is the language of peace...we need your support and they need your expertise and resources and yes, we all need your desire and commitment to build peace in our world."
